Well, friends, Im having a difficult time getting over my guilt. It was Johns birthday on the 10th of September. Many, many of our family were born in September, too, but of all people, I forgot Johns birthday. He turned 85. He is so handsome, so energetic, so smart and so delightful, I feel just terrible!!! I was off a day all week (we had just gotten back from Washington DC, but that is no excuse). The day after his birthday our walking buddy Pam came over and apologized for being one day late for his birthday and brought him a card. But me..... Nope, I didnt remember this momentous event until she reminded me. Im so lucky he still loves me. Congratulations on 85 beautiful years my beloved.
