Well friends here is a name to remember, Carolina Cardinals, This 10-U AA baseball team came together sitting in my office with Brian Schachner talking about how much we love the game of baseball and watching our kids play. The people that know Wofford Shipman know that at one time way back when in the 1977 era that baseball was his life. I now have relived some special memories over the past 4 months that will remain special to me for a long time. The Cardinals fall record finished up at 25 and 10 with 3 consecutive tournament wins and a season that filled the fingers with championship rings. I have seen my kids make plays that a ten year old kid should never make. I have pitchers that can throw in the mid 50s and I have a group that can hit and I mean hit well. A team that has won 18 out of their last 20 games and starting practice next sunday to prepare for the spring season. I will give you some names to remember as time goes by. Jake Mullins, A kid that loves the game of baseball and has a heart to prove it. Write this down some where and save it this young man will catch in the pros one day. Matthew Moore is a Gaffney product that the Indians will have to look forward to in five years. A pitcher and a hitter second to none. Brayden Rogers is a kid that became a big part of our success this season he is a left handed pitcher that does not know his true strength at this point. his pitching skills will take him as far as he wants to go on the diamond one day. And Brayden is another one that is going to be fun to watch as time goes by. Tyler gist, Wow what a kid, This is my short stop he is quick as a cat and has a great smile. The total package, Good arm good bat and great speed and will always be my lead off man and one day will be the Dorman cavaliers lead off man. Miller Schachner, One word (awesome) this young lady thats right young lady can do it all, play any position on the field and play them well. She is my second baseman and if things go as planned one day will take over at second base for the Atlanta braves. Nolan Wiley, He is one of my catchers and he is a sleeper right now but one day Nolan will be putting on a show. Blake London, Well gang all I can say about Blake is look out the train is coming. A lefty that brings the heat and can hit the ball as well as any you would want to watch. Blake make sure I get on the ticket list one day. Jake Cooke, what a player, He is a pitcher a third baseman and Carrys a cannon and did I say fun to watch. Great things are ahead for this young man. Carson Shipman my son, I look forward to watching your skill levels continue to mature, And you have a good eye for this game and a rocket for a arm. In due time you will Develope into a special product on the baseball field. How about this one gang Russell Judge the perfect piece for any puzzle. Russell can play any position on the field and play them well, One day when Russell gets his college scholarship in baseball or Scoccer I will be at his first game. Hogan Kolb, Hogan has a lot of talent in the small structure he carries and as time goes by and he gets stronger he will be a force to wrecken with. I see Hogan at second and Tyler at shortstop in about 5 years at Dorman high school. Nic Rodgers keep working hard young man and you will develop into as good of a hitter as I have ever seen. you have a good game developing and I cant wait to see you when you are 12. Wesley Shipman my man I will only say this about Wesley his game just went up two notches a 7 year old playing with 10 year olds and playing it well. a left handed pitcher with speed and athletic ability. look out rebel nation. Well friends as you read this remember one thing I love my Carolina Cardinal baseball team a team that finished number 1 in the nation in AA and just got bumped to AAA so I will say this get ready. THE CARDINALS ARE COMING.
