Well, furriends, mom went to Petsmart to pick up a couple things and she says she can never walk by the kitties without stopping to play with them with her glasses earpiece. They all love to chase it through the window. She reads every card and stops to talk to every cat. Such a sucker. Well today, her heart skipped a beat! There is a female kitty there she wants real bad (worse than she usually feels), but she has a lot to consider. Besides money, the other issue is whether I, Simba, would adjust. Im very jealous and very territorial. We had Cissy with us for 8 years, and she was adopted at the same time as Max and I was a tiny baby then. She wants to know if you have brought a new kitty into the home with 2 older gents (or at least one that is tempermental, Max is laid back and loving to everyone, so he would not likely be an issue.) The kitty is a 3 year old, orange short haired tabby who is declawed. Obviously, she was someones pet. The volunteer thinks she came from an elderly person who had to go into a home. The information card says she is a little afraid of other cats, but given plenty of room and my own personal space, she will be fine. Mom says she went in back and opened the cage and played with her. She very shy. But she did rub her head on moms jacket and purred. Moms mother told her before she passed that she should stay away from Petsmart. As a mommas boy, I agree.
