Well guys Im on my way to stables to do the morning shift then post office to send eBay stuff and then off to pick up our golden oldie Akita from the pound. The farrier is coming today to do the rescue horses feet, then its all hands to dec to get the other two kennels readr for tizer the Scottish staffie and the husky. Ive still 3 more updates to tell u about but Ill update tonight after Ive done the rest of the pack drop. What do we all think to sapphire for a name for this golden oldie? Im going to contact tizer owner today and arrange to hopefully collect him Friday or Saturday. Ill be hopefully meeting up with the lovely Kirsty and talking about getting Glashow Back up and running. If anyone whos on route has any stuff for us I can collect on the way back. Im going to hopefully take a load of supplies up with me to Kirsty who will hopefully head up the team up there. If theres any volunteers either new or from the first time we went up who wud like to help with a monthly drop up there please pm me and I can put a team together. We know a lot more what were doing now and I think we can make it a success. We have a very exciting project starting with ruby the student vet and Glashow university where vet students will be offering free monthly clinics for homeless dogs in Glashow in exchange for the hands on experience. Of course they will be supervised by a qualifies vet and its going to be an amazing project where the guys can get free vet care including vaccinations etc or surgeries and any sick dog. this starts in September so we really need to be organised and get Glasgow running properly. Our abd Rubys plan is that they will also habd out the packs at the same time as having the clinics. If this works in Glasgow its something that could be rolled out over many cities. This is the prototype so to speak. In August we will be fundraising a lot for this project. So tizer has actually come at a good time to go up to Scotland abd chat to our potential new team. So all of u north of the border, please please please start collecting tins of food, dog food, anything from the wish list so we can help these guys get this project and the pack drop off the ground.
