Well guys, unless the guitar arrives in less than an hour (my ride comes then) I wont be able to play today. I called KLM, and there is no confirmation of them receiving the instrument.. and they cant call the airport. KLM can only email a supervisor, and wait patiently for the supervisor to check the mail, then the supervisor calls the airport, then the supervisor emails the KLM representative back and then they will call me back with any info. Screw it, I will try to get a deal with a guitar company that has factories on both continents so when I travel they can just ship me one of their middle valued guitars for live performance use. Airline companies are not suited to deal with instruments, they either lose them or break them. I saw them yesterday chucking luggage around without care. I suppose it sucks they get paid $10 an hour to lift stuff and that may lead one to not care about their work. They hire the stars from Planet of The Apes to throw luggage around like bean toss, and at the same time they have a no liability clause. How wonderfully convenient for them. So... I will just wait a bit longer. I emailed my agent about the situation, and as of now there is not much I can do about it. He will see about locating a guitar I can use for the show. Havent been able to practice. Yadda Yadda, boo hoo.
