Well had a cracking day down mansfield. Few beers before the game and a bite to eat in a nice boozer. Pint in the mansfield club house bar (pools could do with something like this not something that resembles a community centre). Onto the game Mansfield were nowt flash and we let them bully us a bit in the first half tbh. We conceded a sloppy goal near half time that should of been cleared then flinders should of saved imo. Onto the second half we played much better and RM must of give them a kick up the backside, we were winning balls and playing a bit of football. I was quite intrigued why my mom was subbed (joe ironside) and marlon never went off đ. Fenwick came on and put himself about a bit and had a chance here and there. The two sendings off well what can you say. Played 11 men and the ref we never get out off scott matthieson. What was marlon doing choking there player or just pinning him downđ. Thought woods was a bit harsher. Overall Flinders for me should of done better with goal, holden maybe better in midfield, bates is crap, dan jones looks better at cb imo. Duckworths our best player. Ironsides playing out of hes skin we need to get him tied down till end of season if possible. Franks had a few chances and blazed em over or wide. Marlon was marlon. I thought we were well worth the draw possibly the win if fenwick started with ironside. The hartlepool crowd were 1st class we sang through the whole game, now if the players cant get motivated by that they shouldnt be playing. Ronnie Moores Blue and White Army đ
