Well had a wonderful afternoon with the residents of Krikdale Dementia home, singalong with Sue that was for sure, tearful in some instances, left witth a special hug and embrace from an elderly couple one in patient other visiting, helped with the bingo and all, danced me little shoes off, spilt more tea and trod on a mince pie or too, but have to say, and showing this with pride, my aunty did not speak for a long time, recently she started to communicate again, but this is absolutely priceless. Never give up hope, dementia is one mighty feat to overcome but within their is memories buried deep, This means a lot to me. Introducing sing along with Aunty Marg and Vera Lynn Alias Sue Francis. Shed a few tears today i can tell you and didnt she do well , Aunty Margaret amazing effort.
