Well have a few minutes so I thought I would share a reflection of the day. To day was my volunteer day at the home less clinic its not all day a few hours out of my life not much in the grand scheme of things right? I assist the doc with taking vitals filling meds wound care just all around help.These folks live under bridges in there cars and an assortment of shelters.There is a very broad selection of folks some addicts some that have given up some that just got out of prison and no where to go and some mental illness. Some smell so bad that it is almost painful to be close to them to do exams and help with dis robing and helping them back with there clothes. But they are all people, to see how thankful they are for what we do is beyond what you can imagine. Does a large portion of our society treat these people with disgust and shame oh so much,but are we not according Scripture suppose to be there? I guess why it hits me maybe harder than others .... is if wasnt for my family and friends I could have ended up where some of these folks did. I may not have addiction problems or mental health issues but I have been way at the bottom may be below the bottom and because Im so blessed with the family and friends that I have Ive been able to start back up I thank God every day. So folks when you see that street person stop for just a minute and reflect please. Thanks for reading my rambling this evening God bless all of you
