Well, here I am again in my Happy Place corresponding with folks Ive never met who all have a love for Lionel trains .A few days ago I posed the question asking if anyone knew of a source to obtain O scale excursion cars I can pull behind a Walt Disney World Railroad locomotive. Mitch Simpson immediately replied with the URL to an eBay auction selling a kit that looks like it would work but unfortunately it was in On30 scale and would be too narrow to fit on 3-rail O gauge track. Shortly after Jean Karvelis provided me with the contact information for the manufacturer. He has agreed to not only produce a wider and longer car in O scale but also in 1:24 G scale. This should make all the owners who run the Lionel Disneyland 35th Anniversary locomotive extremely happy. as well as the owners of the G scale Ward Kimball and Ernst S Marsh. So even though this group is devoted to Lionel trains only, your collective knowledge benefits model railroaders in all scales. Thank you so much. Cheers!
