Well, here is the latest...My Mom is in the hospital since Thursday night. They finally determined that she had a stroke, which primarily affected her speech. Her heart is strong, her diabetes is under control, she has control of her extremities, and is feeling generally well, except for her inability to communicate with us. Tomorrow we will have a conference with the doctors to determine our next course of action, including rehab. Hopefully she will be discharged by Tuesday or Wednesday, at which time the rehab will commence. Hopefully, no further problems will arise. So far, we have been very fortunate with her stroke in as she understands what is going on and has full movement of everything. Please keep her in yur prayers. thanks.
