Well here it is almost the 2nd Thursday already again.....Geez this day rolls around so quickly. Oh well I am here and I am good. I am so grateful for all of that. Only 18 more days until day 200! Yet another milestone in my Stem Cell Transplant journey! I will be able to stop some of my meds, yippee. Then in Jan, I will be able to stop all of them except the Velcade maintenance, that is the very other Thursday one, and the steroids. I am feeling better and better everyday, with the exception of a few days after my shot....but I can LIVE with that! Again I want to thank you all for everything you ALL have done for me over this past year...and YES it has been a YEAR since I was in renal failure and found out I had Multiple Myeloma. Things have really changed for us. Most have changed for the better! We here are no longer taking life for granted. It is very special and PLEASE realize this before you or a loved one gets a serious diagnosed! I thought I was strong and I was NEVER going to be the one to get sick.....I thought I had years to do the things I wanted....I thought I could put everything off until tomorrow! Well guess what? I found out that is NOT so! I am here today and getting stronger, but I also know that my cancer is not one that can be cured (at this time) and will come back, but for now I am not going to sit and wait for it.......I choose to live and enjoy my family, my friends and my LIFE!
