Well, here it is, the moment you’ve all been waiting for – Ruby (formerly Minnie from CACC Transfer Team) is officially ADOPTED!! After pulling Ruby from CACC she had to continue fighting physically. She immediately had to go into a surgery for pyometra and had bouts of lethargy, vomiting and diarrhea. We knew this girl had to get healthy ASAP because her sweet nature, adorable face and ability to get along with people, cats and other dogs would get her adopted quickly. Thank you for all who donated to help her get to her forever home! Once Ruby’s hopes for a forever home went public we had such a huge response we could barely keep up. Literally, the inquiries and applications kept streaming in with no visible end in sight!! A great application came in with a family that had a male dog and they were looking for a new addition to their family. From the moment they all met, we, her foster mom and her forever moms just knew this was her forever family. The entire process has been seamless for Ruby becoming part of their family. Her and her brother Houston are inseparable and love each other with all their might and her human parents adore her!! Its safe to say we are all 4 in love with one another! The admiration is mutual for each of us. Its like the dogs cant function without the other one. They are amazing together! We already thought each of them was amazing on their own, and now its beyond our wildest dreams how great they are together! As always, we thank Ruby’s foster family for taking such great care of her and for a rescue community that continues to adopt and share these amazing pups so that we can continue to save more!! Onto your forever life Ruby! Were positive you will continue to melt the hearts of many more. Youve already melted so many!!
