Well, here they are. Our 14 1/2 hr day with the end product of 6 amazing, heartfelt tattoos by the AMAZING Michael Stapleton at Savage Henry Tattoos. Kelsie Poland had the Dragon added to her right shoulder for her Dad to the Lilly for her Mom joining them together forever. Lyssa Vaughn had her Rose and Butterfly finished on her right shoulder for her Daddy, Kymberlynn Mikeayla had her rainbow, music heart on her right shoulder for her Mama, Shayleene Deneese Vaughn had her Moon and Stars put down her right side. Something shes wanted for a long time. Kyrsten Poland has the Stay Strong on her right wrist to symbolize her strength to carry on in her trials. And I have the two tone Purple (her favorite color) Rose for my Alyssa Rose, the Blue & Black (her favorite color) nautical Star for my Shay Baby and the Heart with wings with Psalms 61: 1-4; My prayer to God reminding me that He will always be there to shelter me and my girls with His wings no matter what type of storm we go through. (1. O God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! 2. From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, 3. for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. 4. Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings!) This has been my go to prayer ever since Alyssa was born to get me through that major struggle in my life and everyday since to get me through every trial I face all the way to the day God took Kevin home to today! This was a very emotional day for everyone because every tattoo had a special meaning to us all. Thank you to all the family and friends that came to share the day with us. Michael, you are an amazing artist. Thank you again for your time, patience and dedication. Dont ever stop what your doing. Thank you Charlie Brown for hanging out the whole day with me and my crazy family and holding my hand and Alyssas hand during our tattoos. That really meant a lot to me. And my BFF, Christopher Poland, I love you and your daughters so very much. I am so glad we were able to share this wonderful experience with them. Youre an amazing Dad to not only your girls but to mine as well and a great friend to me. I cant imagine our life without you and those beautiful girls in it. Thank you for always being there!
