Well here we are the day before election day. All of the signs have been repositioned, voting locations are manned and now all we can do is sit back and watch the votes. This entire process had been quite the learning experience for me. It has been much more involved than I wouldve ever anticipated. I cant imagine doing a campaign on a larger scale and dont plan on it despite what others may say. Despite that I have thoroughly enjoyed the process and would not do anything terribly different. I want to thank everyone who has supported me either financially or otherwise. Specifically I would like to thank Jenny Stickley and Karen Levengood on Lookout Mountain, as well as Larry Bentley, my unofficial campaign sign manager, all of our north Chattanooga friends and family and everyone else who has made this a success regardless of the outcome. Most importantly thank you to my family and specifically to my wife Shannon, as they have had to put up with a lot over the past four months. Hopefully beginning Friday things will get back to normal (with the exception that I will have been elected to the school board of course). The only reason that I ever got into this race was because of my three children and my simply wanting the best for them. I hope that through this process people have come to understand that and based upon that will believe that I am the best candidate to make that happen. Regardless, please exercise your right to vote tomorrow and we hope to see many of you at Il Primo tomorrow night. Again thank you to everyone!!!!!!
