Well, heres the finish project. Sanded off the awful paint job, went with a cherry stain, and poly gloss coat. Also sanded down the neck and gave it a nice poly coat also, added on vintage BCR tuners, custom control plate, new pickup covers and new pickup rings. Has a Seymour Duncan Distortion pickup in the bridge, and stock in the neck. Considering how i first got this, and how it came out, its been one of my favorite projects to do. And, it was my first body project....usually i dont mess with finishes and stuff, simply cause i dont have the tools, but to be able to do everything by hand was a great learning experience, although, i dont for see me sanding off any more finishes by hand here in the near future lol!
