Well here’s the latest update on True Blood. Sookie is attracted to Ben who is pretty good looking until she finds a drop of his blood that lights up – this shows he’s a vampire. Of course I sussed he is really the dreaded Warlo and after feeding Jason who dreams of them mutually shaving each other – I don’t get this so it must be a guy thing – Ben then manages to drain and replenish their fairy grandfather and send him to exile in some wormhole type thing. I was actually quite glad about this as I found it very difficult to accept Rutger Hauer as some sort of Fairy King! Apparently Ben is a half and half, half fairy and half vamp. Meanwhile Eric has turned Willa the Governor’s daughter for revenge – although as she is only the second human he has turned in a 1000 years I suspect there’s something more to it than that. I get completely bemused by the werewolf thing now and think they have lost the plot there so I don’t bother much with it although Sam Merlotte has saved just one of the group the wolves destroyed even though they were trying to help them! Don’t ask me! Jessica drains all 4 fairy kids of the sheriff in a frenzy of drinking. I don’t get this plotline either. Bill had nothing to do except enter and exit. Sookie invites Ben for a meal and poisons it with silver and then seduces him and tells him at a crucial moment – ‘you can get off me now Warlo.’ The end. PS Apparently even Vamps are high tech now as Bill took blood from someone with the aid of a gadget and not his fangs so that he could do research on fairy blood. Everything is being modernised!
