Well i have been duely noted that i havent updated since day 28 and seeming we are now on day 57 its a pretty bad effort on my part so my apologies, however saying this essays on top of pictures could have been slight over kill and i have travelled through the two most party central places. Well Last time i updated i had just got into La Paz and had was thoroughly enjoying life. Well its safe to say La Paz stayed wild the entire time i was there, plus ventured into the amazon for a touch of swimming with dolphins, fishing for pirahnas and hunting anacondors (pretty sure ive spelt all that incorrectly but you get the gist) Also went treking through the jungle in the pitch black and crossed raging rivers of course under strict bolivian health and safety regulations. Didnt stay for long until i moved from La Paz tio Copocabana and the Isla de Sol though as liver was starting to reject my body and i needed a rest. Would highely reccommend the north of the Island for a bit of rest and relaxation! Treked in the boiling heat had some beautiful trout and kinwa soup, some of the best eating the whole way through bolivia, plus a private room and bathroom for a fiver a night, cant complain! After spending two nights here i caught the overnight bus across the border in to Peru and Cusco, absolutely hassle free compared to the manic crossing between argentina and bolivia. Getting into Cusco i immediately felt more at ease. The city seems so safe and organised compared to Bolivia, helped by possibly the most beautiful breakfast ive ever had!! (Alpaca steak, poached eggs, aspargus, tomotoes and mushrooms) felt a right tramp though as havent washed for a few days!!! Got exploring Cusco early doors and feeling lazy took the bus tour round the city, as well as this also toured the chocolate musuem which happens to also serve the most beautiful chocolate menu. Finally came to Machu Pichu where a lot of my travelling had been focussed to. It didnt dissapoint! a truely beautiful place helped by some fantastic 3 course meals to get me through and a competitive spirit climbing up dead womans pass on the 2nd day!! A few more messy nights in Cusco and im now finally leaving to Araquipa. Thoroughly enjoyed the city although could spend much longer here time permitted. Will try and keep this updated a little more often promise but sure you all got the idea through my insane amount of photos that i keep posting. Hope your all way and chat next on the coast of Peru where im looking for some serious sunshine and relaxation.
