Well if I dont feel STUPID....the small carpet in my bathroom was getting wet....it seemed like it was leaking at the faucet behind the toilet......and sure enough it was dripping and how long I dont know but there was a lot of water......so I put a bowl under it and called my plumber......he said he would be there on his way home.....ok so I just kept dumping out the water......so you ask why didnt you turn the faucet off to stop the leak.....I have lived in this house for over 35 years and it has very old pipes and I was afraid I would break the pipe and be in real trouble......so why do I feel STUPID......all the plumber had to do is tighten up the nut around the pipe.....duh!......but thank goodness I have a good plumber and no charge.....yeah! No leak and wrench with in my reach just in case..
