Well, if you need a little personal affirmation, I highly recommend having a birthday and having it show up on Facebook. Yesterday (8/2) I received well over 150 birthday wishes. Some were simply a short Happy Birthday, while some were thoughtful and heartfelt words of appreciation or remembrance. Regardless, all were welcome and joyfully received. So thanks! They came from friends on 5 continents, from as young as 14, to over 90 years old. It was my 57th birthday, and some of the folks Ive known for WELL over 50 years (Marty, Julie, Tammy, Tracy, Rob, others) ... some Ive barely known 50 days. One person (Gerri) pointed out that it was my 57th birthday, and I was born in 1957. I like that kind of symmetry, and I guess Im enough of a math geek to know THATS never gonna happen again. ;) So, as I said.. thanks one and all. Happy to report it was a good birthday apart from the involvement of my FB friends, but your words made it even richer.
