Well, if youve ever wondered how they do an MRI of your wrist, let me tell ya, boys and girls. You have to get on your stomach and put your arm over your head, with, of course, your wrist completely immobilized. Now I am a good patient and I didnt try to move my wrist at all (not that I could have anyway), but my left shoulder, which is ornery to begin with, starting burning and spasming during the procedure (which took about 25 minutes). Then my right hand went to sleep--I was propping on it because if I laid my head down completely, I felt smothered by my hair. Anyway, I managed to make it through w/o needing to squeeze the help bulb. But my wrist and shoulder feel as if theyve been through the old mill . . .
