Well it finally happened, the YES people came round to my door. 35 mins later and someone had to come along in a car and rescue them. It started off well with the polite question what am i voting (not sure Sherlock but the sticker and flag on my car should give it away!!!). So happy with that. But then the why? Still happy, so i explained that it was because of the uncertainty and not knowing what we would spend, be taxed or how security would be dealt with etc. She then came out with blinder number one, and stated that the next (seems to be already set) UK government would be UKIP and CONservative and that they will change everything including all taxation and currency. ok!! So fast forward and got onto child poverty. very serious point i would agree, however she agreed that the SNP intend to only tackle it by changing statistics and not improving the kids lives as this is better cause it give an immediate fix and thats all people want to see. WHAT!!!. Next she explained that she would rather use money to give free university tuition than get rid of food banks in Scotland as she was from Kirkcaldy and she went to university. Well done love glad you did the kids you told me about in Glasgow that cant eat will be so proud of you. Again WHAT!!! then came a few admissions that she didnt check facts that she was preaching, example, she didnt know what companies were in the 200 SNP companies list. She also said that getting Independence was well worth losing jobs in Scotland for as it was all about the future and not just now. Got a tear in my eye at that point as i said bye to my car and house sorry kids :-( Next was the real revelation. She agreed that Scotland get back more from Westminster that we paid but that Westminster got the money back as we paid a higher level of VAT in Scotland. Yet again WHAT!!!! Anyway its easy to see why they almost ran up my drive to their car cause she couldnt back up her facts. My advice would be get your facts in order before coming to my door and preaching your UK hate filled scaremongering untruths. Any way hope they come back as i only scratched the surface and i had so much fun. Didnt even get to Trident and NATO :-). #VoteNO
