Well, it got better! Con ambushed me with a surprise party at Parker Ford Church on Saturday night. I babysat Crosby all day while everyone prepared. I had absolutely NO IDEA. (That doesnt usually happen!) I was planning on a nice, quiet evening with grandchild #2 and her family, and Josh Bytwerk called mid-drive to tell me about an AV emergency at the church. He gets nominated for an Academy Award! During the call, we hit a deer. (4th incident with my new Santa Fe..anyone want to buy a car? My dad would say its jinxed. Haha.) I was steaming about the problem as Josh made it out to be a real catastrophe, so when I arrived I was loaded for bear, (another Ray Willauer expression). That all changed the moment I entered the auditorium, which was filled with church and immediate family. Speechless! What a great night and what amazing love from everyone present. Thanks to everyone who assisted Con in this major deception, and also to Brad Willauer who gave a fantastic toast/roast, and Neil Willauer who went into the family archives, even though he pulled out a couple of less-than-stellar report cards from high school! I am blessed!
