Well it happened. My Yaesu communications receiver decided to go on strike today. I was listening to it when I inadvertently unplugged the power-strip it was plugged into. When I plugged it back in, it just sat there staring at me with this blank look on its LCD display where the frequency and signal meter normally would be. So I pulled it out of the rack, gave it a quick visual inspection inside and out, and made several offers which it summarily declined. So my 23-year-old receiver is on its way to binding arbitration with a pal who works on this kind of electronics. I have no choice. I love my Yaesu. Its like the ICOM IC-7800 I never had. But seriously, its a great receiver, and I felt physical pain when I realized it was out to lunch. Thankfully, my Kenwood Transceiver covers the same frequencies, but Ill feel much better when this thing is back up and running!
