Well it has started..... I received a call early this morning from a man over near Mobile, AL. He had found a baby raccoon and called the Mobile Environmental Studies Center which is a wildlife rescue center, he was told they no longer take in baby mammals. I already receive so many calls annually from Slidell to New Orleans, LA., because they have no place to take wildlife over that way. Now we are going to get bombarded with all these calls from Alabama which we cannot assist either state as it is against the law to transport any wild animal across the Mississippi state line. Alabama, what are you thinking???
