Well, it is about 9:00 on Saturday night and a lot has happened in the past 36 hours. Jim had a very difficult day on Friday and when I got home I decided that he really needed to get to the ER. We went and had a very bad incident with Jims blood pressure...thank God for the wonderful ER nurses and doctors at the Lebanon Mercy Hospital. They sent him on to Springfield and we were in the ER until 2:00 am this morning. His blood pressure leveled out and we finally got into a room. I really felt like we needed to have answers because all of the test proved to be negative for a heart attack although he was having pains and pressure in his chest, up his neck and jaw, and the pain was going down his left arm...all classic signs of a heart attack. I prayed that the doctor on call would recommend a cardiogram to see if there was more blockage or to see if a change in meds was causing all of this turmoil with Jims health. That is exactly what Dr. Wiggins recommended, but they could not get him on the schedule today. He will stay in the hospital and have the procedure on Monday. Thank you for your prayers...I know that God was with Jim in the ER... To God be the Glory...Great things He has done.
