Well it looks as though I am going to have to stay with TalkTalk. It seems that once they take over, they also own your line. This means that I cannot migrate back to Eclipse as they have their lines from BT wholesale. In fact it would be difficult even to get Plusnet to take over as they said there would be a fee to buy back the line and about a 2-3 week wait as they have to put an order in. I wish to goodness I had never gone near TalkTalk. As soon as their contract is up for my phone as well as broadband, I will be looking at all possibilities, even if it means getting a new BT line put in. I will not stay with these shysters a moment longer than I have to. It took me another 40 mins on the phone this morning and although I am used to dealing with India, even I couldnt understand the accents of the advisers and had to repeatedly ask them to slow down, even the supervisor. I am not remotely prejudiced but it is almost impossible to understand some of the accents which are just so thick as to be totally unintelligible. I still have no email, seems there has been a fault on their end and they have now promised me it within 4 hours of the call. I will go straight to Offcom if it isnt up and running. I have emails coming out of my ears. My advise to anyone is dont touch this company with a very long barge pole. They are an absolute shambles. Share widely please!!
