Well it looks like I can’t go away again. Mercedes has periods where she wants Mommy all to herself and if she doesn’t get that time she throws a fit and is mean to her siblings and often to her Daddy. She threw one on Saturday night. Richard said she wouldn’t mind him at all. When I was giving her some special one on one time Sunday she turned to my hand slapped one of my fingers. Then she run up into the headboard cubby hole leaned down and gave me a kiss. All forgiven! Mercedes will often awaken in the night and sit by her door and talk to me. I talk her and she goes about her business. Apparently she thought I abandoned her or something because she worried so much she tore-up her face Saturday night. She had fur missing and bloody patches on her skin. So here I am on Sunday evening trying to put anti-biotic on her sores and Richard comes in and says he needs some too. “For what?” He had a bloody patch he’d scratched under his chin and it was bleeding. I can’t believe I was gone for two nights and my daughter and husband end up looking like plague victims! Next time we pack the kids and get a motel room!
