Well it seems the dogs of war are prowling through the halls of the Australian parliament again. we are now frequently hearing from the mouths of politicians some intimation that our current Prime Minister has Howards disease, that would be the want to see himself in a heroic light as a wartime Prime Minister! All this related to the idea that as soon as the US decides to jump in to sort out the Islamic State debacle in the Middle East Australia will be there! Bloody bastards, it never ceases too impress me how quickly these gutless wonders are to commit our young to the horror of war without ever having experienced anything like it themselves, when they and theirs are nowhere near the gunsmoke and who are all too ready in the next breath to strip our returning veterans of their benefits. A pox on all their houses, the one thing they all decline to consider is that this mess of the rampaging Islamic State is the creation of one of the more recent expressions of the same ignorant heartless idiocy in which that Liberal hero Howard had us as enthusiastic participants. It is the creation of the debacle the US and the coalition of the willing made of the Iraq invasion in 2003.Strangely enough, the parallels with American incompetence in Cambodia during the 1970s strikes me deeply, same bullshit same result! Slaughter that is someone elses fault!
