Well, it was wishful thinking that her eyes had changed enough to stop the seizures, but no, Mouse just had her 5th one in 3 years. Its not epilepsy, but caused by her deformed eyes, because of the double merle gene. The last one was 13 months ago and they all have happened in the Autumn months. It scares both of us soooo much... but Mouse likes the honey after. Theyre not grand maul seizures, she is fully conscious. She staggers around and runs into things. I pick her up, wrap her in a blanket and carry her to the honey cabinet. Then I sit with her until the actual seizure is over, then give her some honey. Then we sit wrapped in blankies until shes not blind anymore and she decides shes all better. Usually an hour or so. Im still shaking... shes sleeping.
