Well, its 2:30 in the morning, and I am lying in bed awake suffering from insomnia caused by the never ending pain in my knee. Osteoarthritis is a MoFo! Im coming to terms with the fact that knee replacement is an inevitability. Oh well...there goes my Rollerskating Comeback. I cant believe that this is the week of one of my favorite days of the year...Halloween. I should be ready to transform myself into one of the many characters Ive been known to become at this time of year. But instead, my mind is clouded by pain and the thought of what may become of the rest of my limbs as I get older. I keep reminding myself to be careful...I know depression is a killer. Maybe later today I will have the strength to walk-in to the hospital for another much needed cortisone shot. Or, maybe Ill wake up and this was all a bad dream. Maybe... Get@Me
