Well its 2015 and i hope everyone had a great Xmas and New Year .I am going to tell a story i have been following for a few months .In October a call came out to some Cyprus volunteers that a stray poodle was in danger from the villagers ,but when they arrived she had already been run over and her pelvis was broke in 3 places ,when they took her to the vets for treatment they asked was she pregnant ,but he assured them she wasnt pregnant. She was then taken in by one of the volunteers Thea Kynigos and started her recovery in a cage to stop her from moving around. I managed to find a lovely home for her and Jaydas life was beginning to look brighter. Two weeks later when she went for her check up, the second vet discovered she was pregnant and was within days of having puppies. Jayda had to have a caesarian and gave birth to five puppies. at first she rejected them because she was in so much pain and confusion but during the night she managed to collect each one and started feeding them herself. When the puppies were three weeks old, Jayda got eclampsia and couldnt feed them any more but she had at least got them to the point of eating solids. So just when everything seemed fine again for this brave girl, she got mystitus so bad she had to have an emergency mastectomy but once again she pulled through like the special girl she is, and is on her way to a good recovery. I have just found out that a flight is available on January the 19th and hopefully I can get her on this so that she can start to have a real life with lots of love like she deserves. I am starting a fundraiser for her and her puppies to try to get them homes in the UK.
