Well, its Monday. How many jumped on the scale this morning to see how you did over the weekend? To see if you were successful or if the deviations showed? This used to be me (prior to CWT)--but more days than Monday, unfortunately. The scale used to determine my day, even though I didnt realize it then. If the number was high--Id punish myself with more cardio or less food! IF the number was low (good) Id REWARD myself with a treat! HA....Id get the number to drop like I wanted/hoped and then I deserved the ice cream or whatever I decided. Talk about self sabotage! Fast forward a few years and its amazing the changes Ive made. I finally realize the scale can change every time I step on it, if I follow my plan I will see results on my body and in my clothes, and I can have treats everyday and still see positive changes even more than before! The take home message...place all that energy of scale watching into your plan--execute it day in and day out with your food and training and the results will speak for themselves--you wont need that little number box to tell you anything!
