Well, its a weekend and again, Im back in a mess! Im really beginning to hate weekends. Suellen and I both had noticed a puddle of water in the stallion barn just outside the lab, but I thought it was from the chickens dumping their water, which they do daily. But when it started to grow, figured Id better dig it out. Unfortunately, its a leak, and a pretty good one once I took the supporting dirt away. And it looks like its coming from under the cement slab. This is definitely one for a plumber, but who to call? I called the guy who built the barn but he conveniently forgot to call me back. I have another option which I will try today once church gets out, but will probably be tomorrow before a plumber can get out here. So for now Im carrying water. Filled all the horse buckets before I shut off the water so, since its cool, hopefully it will last til tomorrow. That pool water is coming in handy right now! 11,000 gallons right outside the door! Sigh....always something....
