Well its an odd day here. Mixed feelings. The last pistol has been built in the old BTC building. Its hard to believe that a 12x24 Amish skid barn changed an industry. What most people know as normal things to have done to a polymer frame gun and even some things that are now factory on pistols originated from me in that small building. Stippling, Grip reductions with stippling instead of truck bed liner or marine tech stuck on them, Forward thumb stippling, Contoured slides, Magazine well cut outs, Very short travel Glock triggers, Almost every trigger job on an M&P is a copy of the ones I designed. The performance center sear at S&W for the M&P is my designed S trigger sear, The Red dot sights being used on fighting guns milled in with BUIS all from here in that little red building !! Tomorrow Ill start work in the new digs. Kinda funny though it sets on the exact spot the old shop used to. My work bench will not have moved 10 feet. Thanks to everyone who has supported me and not forgotten who originated many of these ideas and has stuck loyal to the craftsman who put in the time to work out the designs!! Hopefully the new shop will increase efficiency so I can cut my times a little, but when all else fails the quality of my hand build one by one pistols will always be the same……THE BEST !! Thanks to my thousands of customers from the past and thanks to the ones who will come in the future. David Bowie
