Well, its been 12 days since my final (I just cant go through another) left total knee replacement with new, state of the art revisions. The incision is the prettiest one ever ( I know, but after so many I start judging them!). It is healing nicely. It hurts like..... imagine a ratchet wound as tight as possible, a heavy maul beating it, electronic super bees stinging up and down the 15 incision and a constant, indescribable deep throb. But, a lot was done to repair it so I am not surprised. When I look down to my foot now it is straight! :) it barely bruised, and I HAVE LOST.18 LBS. since they weighed me prior to surgery!!! Yeah!!! So, staples/stitches come out the 5th and PT will begin. Ouch! Its all good. I dont need a caretaker as has otherwise been assumed. I.love sitting on the deck with Zoomer and Gracie. Gets lonely but people are busy. I understand. Thus ends my life summary of the past almost 2 weeks. Love you all.
