Well... its been a strange twist of fate these past couple of days. We did NOT go get the white husky because someone else was interested in her and they have 160 acres for her to romp on. That to me sounded like a much better place for her! Shortly after we learned that, we were told about 11 puppies that were in a shelter in Fayetteville. Momma was a German Shepherd and had to be put down. All the puppies were now 4 months old and looking for homes. So Shawn and I drove there today and guess what? Baretta has a brother!! They are getting along GREAT. Baretta took to him immediately at the shelter - picked up a tug toy and tried to engage in a gave of tug of war. The puppy wasnt sure what was going on because he was used to being the biggest dog in the pack and now there was someone even bigger! It didnt take long for him to warm up to her and by the time we got home, they were best buds! Still looking for a name for him, but for now he has been dubbed Barfley because he barfed (got car sick) 8x on the way home! Starting as soon as 3 minutes after we left the shelter to the last one about 8 miles from home. Heres a picture of him. More pictures and video to come soon. Any ideas on names? it should either match with Baretta, or with a Western flair for True West.
