Well its been another tough stretch with the weather for us aboard the DayMaker. I got to speak with Jeff last night around 5:30 for the first time regarding the weather and his scheduled trip today. His wife Kristi got him a charter for his birthday and it was a surprise up until yesterday late afternoon. Jeff had a total of 6 people to take for his 1/2 day fishing charter today and with the forecast of 4-6ft still, a small craft advisory and a total of 7 people on the DayMaker it just wasnt going to be comfortable. MORE IMPORTANTLY IT WASNT GOING TO BE FUN for these guys with most of the being novice to the offshore experience. I thought it was best to reschedule. Look forward to our rescheduled trip after the new year! On another note both boats ARE fishing tomorrow. I have a group of regulars on the DayMaker and some seasoned guys are fishing on the OUTLAW as well it is forecast to be nicer than it has been for the last couple of days. I have cancelled my 1/2 day for Monday with the East wind 20knots forecast. The DayMaker will be getting some service work on the engine done and Monday is a prep day for the two day FISH HEADS SAILFISH TOURNAMENT which kicks off the local Stuart Sailfish Season.
