Well its been four years since I lost Merle and here I walk into year 5 in March. Time flew,... my love, my grieving and my heart stayed solid. I gained friends,I had people leave, I lost hope, I gained strength , I lost love, I found God again, I lost hate, I discovered joy. I lost ego, I gained my soul. So much loss, so much i needed i didnt know. Merle Allen ,you gave me a horrific gift to finding myself. For that, and for many other things, I always will love you. I share our song with everyone, our secret song we sang to each other before bed at night ;) You are never ever forgotten, you are tucked away in my guts forever and a day.
