Well its been quite a wonderful week with all the support from family and friends considering the circumstances. Yesterday we had gathering of some friends and family out at the farm to celebrate my fathers life and Id say it turned out perfectly, the sun was shining, kids were out playing, we shared good food, including some fresh salmon caught out in the river, and had some great conversations of our fondest memories with my father...just what he would have wanted. He loved this place and he loved to entertain here. It was a great day to honor the man he was, a man who loved his family, his profession, and the community. Going forward no doubt wont always be easy but with great friends and family to support us we will manage and do our best just as he would have wanted. I miss you dad, I know you were proud of me, I just want you to know that I was so proud of you too!
