Well its done. My vote has been cast. I was pondering this delusional mindset concerning the illusion of democracy day. Nothing is more telling than hearing the sentiment, Make sure you vote... Have your say! This is when and where the illusionary delusion arises. Candidates only need us to vote them into office, then they no longer need to listen to, we the people. Your vote is important, but how is it so important when it is only a doorway to allowing a candidate to start their work for the corporations. My vote doesnt allow me to have a say on any of the issues that affect me as a part of the countrys citizenry. I had no say in an incinerator being built in our area, Healthcare cuts, education cuts, Temporary foreign workers, tar sands, pipelines, gmos in our unlabeled food, agro-chemical and GME toxicity in our produce, climate change goals, delisting national parks, removing environmental protections and amending assessments, firing govt scientists, muzzling MPs, controlling media, corporate tax breaks, militarization of our law enforcement, TPP, food and water security, lack of information acts, corporate influence on government, buried scandals, election fraud, ... the list becomes endless. Take some time to actually think what you are voting for. The who of it doesnt really matter. I have written letters to and phoned offices of MPs and the PMs office and didnt even get the courtesy of a reply. Politicians are too busy with corporate growth to worry about the individual. So what are we voting for and who is our vote for, means very little when you step outside the illusion.. What does your vote mean to you?
