Well its getting really real now! We just got the paperwork in the mail from Vandy.....Over the past week or so we have been talking with Marys Dr. and surgeon. We have prayed none stop over this decision and feel confident in this next step. We will be going into battle on Dec. 4th to eliminate 1 of the 3 troubled spots in her body, the left lung. She is ready. We are ready. This will be a very tough procedure for her. They will have to collapse her lung and go in by hand to remove the spots that are there. She will be admitted for at least 5 to 7 days as long as everything goes according to plan. I know my baby is in good hands I trust her Drs and surgeon. When I spoke with her Dr. today he told me that by the 2 and 1/2 year mark of most of his Ewing Sarcoma patients the chemo simply doesnt work very well and their cancer begins to come back and spread even more. By that time the kids are struggling physically to even have energy to even eat. That just isnt the case with Mary. God gave her the gift of stubborness and determination!! She will not go down without a fight thats for dang sure. She continues to take her dance classes, come to workout with me, she goes to school even when she feels like crap, she is extremely active in church and now she has started taking drum lessons. Our God is an Awesome God!!! Hes is NOT finished with her. We appreciate your continued prayers, love and support for our family. Love you all!!! Have a blessed and wonderful evening!
