Well, its happened. When I was told to use the portable ozyygen tanks I told Dr. Lalla I didnt want to keep using this He said well, lose 50 pounds and we will discuss it. I was on the cancer diet, lost the 50 pounds, went for the ct scan and this time my creatin level was good (unlike the few times so they could put the contrast in the iv in my arm , had no problem holding my deep breaths and by accident in a rush took a empty canister tank in its bg, so walked from the radiology building where the test was done and it was quite a walk but I did it and got to 21st Century Oncology where Raphael, m favorite drier picked me up two hours later ( took out my empty e-cig with nothing in it but remembered how you would wait for the bus to go to work and wait and light a cigarette and then the bus ame. It worked again today. Saw Dr. Brown who hugged me hello and at the end of seeing each other and I ma his surrogate mom as his mom is up in Ohio, told me the ct scan looked good and when I mentioned I did all this walking without any oxygen he tested it and it was 9. Normal person without any copd. I was so excited and called my pulmonary doctors office and told them and when he put me on it I swore to myself I would get off this and when I see him the 17th, I should be taken off it. You think positive and do some work at it and you will get your results. For two weeks I walked every day with it on as far as I could just around the corner to the end of that street, turn around and come home. By the 2nd week I could walk half way up the street, cross it and go check the mail without any ozy. So, my liver looks the best in two years from high of 14-15 ( this is the level you get on the transplant list in Tampa but last July they told me they wouldnt be able to do the transplant because of my lung problems. Last time I was there, my score was 9 and now I go back here next month. Back in 2001, when my liver failed, I was in a coma on life support for 5 days and they didnt think I would make it thru, I did, and then they wouldnt tell me how much longer I had, I am here 13 years later. Hope everyone is having a Christmas like mine being so much healthier.
