Well.....its hard to put into words...but today was an emotional day for me as my first official work day started at KSU. As I walked across campus today to get some coffee at the Union so many memories came flooding back of so many years ago, people I knew, friends and students Id look for when I walked across campus. I still have so very much to do before Monday and have already worked about a week and a half on campus, but my University Orientation is tomorrow, College Orientation is Wednesday and a College of Education picnic, and then Thursday is Curriculum and Instruction faculty meeting. The experience couldnt have been better so far. Im so very thankful for the quality folks that have surrounded me since May. Now if I could just snap my fingers and get everything I need to do done. The life of an art teacher is interesting....you have all the curriculum plans to get ready...but then you have all this artsy STUFF you have to get organized too. Busy week, that is for sure, like teachers everywhere!
