Well, its midnight and not many will read this post, but I wanted to say what a fabulous day it has been. Started my day off with my Burch Middle School crew and Dr. Seuss! Some were caught sporting wild hair and crazy socks! Mrs. Spence, Mrs. Lester and I were ready with our cool shirts Mrs. Spence had made. Thanks to my personal classroom readers for the day, Duke Jewell, Selena Selena Porter Ferguson, and Lori Krise! Then, my favorite ELA teacher, Mrs. Jo Agnes Anderson paid us a special visit. She always makes me smile! My students participated in a health fair where they experienced some great lessons! Next, we move on to recess! Mrs. Sherrie Ward Spence and I decided to share a bench on the track while we watched the kids. We sat down carefully because it will flip if you sit on one end. An incident happened and Sherrie quickly got up and I went flying to the ground! LOL!!! My students we saying, you are my favorite teacher, are you okay, we love you! Bahahahahaha! Sherrie was concerned too. Not to worry though. I fell gracefully because my kids did a reenactment for me! They are quiet the broadway type! Then, we had a special visit to our school from Congressmen Nick Rahall. We were honored to have him! Last, but not least, we came together as a town to honor Coach Bill Smith. That is exactly what happened! It was so good to see the outpouring of food, love, and kindness to the Smith family. I enjoyed seeing old friends and speaking of past times. Needless to say, I am pooped, but what a great day Ive had! Praying for peace for this family as they honor Mr. Smith again tomorrow. Good night Facebook friends!
