Well its my birthday (again) this coming Friday and friends and family keep asking what do you want for your birthday? The truth is, I dont know. What I do know is that like most blokes It must be difficult to find the right pressie to give me. I have wardrobes,cupboards and drawers full of tee shirts,socks,undies etc some of which Ive never worn, loads of bottles of Whisky that I am doing my best to get through. Enough aftershave and nice smelly stuff to fill a bath.......some cheeky bugger suggested that as I havent got much hair left a wig might be useful, well a hair brush will not be needed thank you unless I get a wig of course. Slippers I already have and I dont need a pipe to go with the slippers either. The best suggestion I came up with is B & Q gift vouchers so that I can go and buy some more tools to add to my extensive collection even though I have been told that I already have more tools than my shed can hold.....LOL Having family and friends who appreciate me and go to the trouble of remembering my birthday is as good a gift as anyone could want and if anyone wants to wish me happy birthday face to face Ill be at the George 111 pub in Queensbury on Friday 29th November rocking it out with Splash Alley. This is a unique way of promoting a gig aint it?
