Well its now another history lesson evening. The folks at HBO now have on He Got Game, which is an old Spike Lee movie with Denzel Washington. The main storyline has to with a rather ugly story centered around a father, son and basketball. But its lecture time about not only the main setting [the more seedy end of Coney Island ...if youse is from Brooklyn you will know it all too well], but about how incredibly corrupt the system really is. Also the fact that a rewritten version of For What Its Worth by Stephen Stills and the use of Hoedown from Rodeo by Aaron Copeland means , at least for a while...I will be looking at those tunes in a different light.
