Well its official, Im almost 52 years of age, but most definitely pregnant .... Yep with my third book child. After an inspired meeting and delicious long lunch yesterday with BalancebyDeborahhutton (who are this childs official birth partners) its confirmed ... Im due to give birth around November this year. No Im not too old ... (and terrified) ... to mother another Book Child ... Ive been consistently reassuring myself overnight now that its all systems go. To all my loyal Emotional Fitness Personal Training Clients we will speak personally of course but just some notice in advance .. The whole of this September 2014 I will be in the batcave writing, getting this book birthed. So I will need to cease for approximately five weeks from late August till the end of September all client session bookings. But rest assured we can resume our normal routines again in October. I felt my heart swelling overnight, healthy anxiety fluttering through me like a beautiful butterfly, gently touching me from the inside, letting me know this third book child is alive and well. So this post is a little plea for help to my Facebook family. Ive become hip slick and cool having gone all Apple with my whiz bang MACBOOK AIR LAPTOP, IPAD, IMAC, IPHONE and my IDONTHAVEABLOODYCLUE WHATIMDOINGNESS is a concern when it comes to finding and storing text and research for a manuscript. So I am wondering if there is anyone living in BrisVegas that I can persuade with a damned good cuppa and great cake that is a really smart cookie when it comes to using MICROSOFT WORD on a MACBOOKAIR, IPAD and IMAC? I am okay with the fundamentals of WORD as I wrote my past two book children with them but on a PC, not APPLE devices. So in writing a whole manuscript and having these three devices explained in baby beginner concepts to me, with what and how they can help me with MICROSOFT WORD/APPLE would be a godsend before I go into final draft stages. Im not a slow learner, just a quick forgetter so thats why I write everything down, so its accessible when my little goldfish brain forgets, plus Im a bit dyslexic too. So if you are also a patient soul Id be grateful because Im a real dinasour when it comes to I.T. Please email me at cynthia@emotionalfitness if you or someone you know who fits this bill has got an hour in the next fortnight or so, and can be bribed by cake and tea to chat with me so we can make a plan? So for those of you who havent met my first two book children, I thought Id post some family snaps of them, me and my sons when my life as a published Wordsmith began back in 2000. In this collage youll see photos of wonderful supporters of my first two book babies that Ill always be eternally grateful to. The first black and white shot is of my first lionhearted publisher Lisa Heighton who was a tiny sparrowesque woman then heading up Hodder & Stoughton. She was the first woman in the literary world to back my writing and pay an un published writer (yep me) without a literary agent big royalties upfront, I will love her forever. She was the midwife at A Helping Hand With Lifes birth, my first book child who is now aged 14. She took my clumsy home made illustrations and manuscript and sent them lovingly to a Swiss finishing school that was her publishing house then. What a woman! And then theres the gorgeous Rex Finch of Finch Publishers and Dr. Timothy Sharp of The Happiness Institute who in 2004 co-authored with me. These two Sydneysiders were generous heart fathers to my second bookchild Emotional Fitness who is a now a healthy, robust 10 year old publication. The next bookchild, well .... if I can work out how to drive MICROSOFT WORD on these bloody too clever for me APPLE devices, well have a hopefully healthy birth this November ....time will tell ... watch this space Lotsa love Cynthia xxx
