Well its the sixth Christmas without Mom, and today is the first time I have felt the spirit while getting my decorations out. Ive continued to decorate every year but I just go through the motions. The past few days Maddox has been here and watching him get so excited and seeing the sparkle in his eyes and the anticipation as he waits for each singing Santa and snowman, it sparked something in me as well again. Ive baked every year, had family get togethers, and I love Christmas Eve services but the traditions of decorating always came from the heart of mom and I know without a doubt I need to continue it! I know it would make mom so happy to see Maddox enjoying the traditions she so lovingly passed on to us three kids and all her grand kids.
