Well its time to let everyone know what I did last week, as many of you know I went to the Buckeye Bash, in order to do that, I had to arrange for 16 of my babies to be cared for. My very special friend Claudia Johnson took care of 5, of my babies. The weekend before a very, very special Ricky Otter earned his wings, and devastated Claudia, I knew right then it was going to be super hard for Claudia to even see Fester. See we are pretty sure Fester and Ricky were brothers, from the same breeder. We met each other to exchange ferrets on Wednesday afternoon, she took one look at Fester and started crying, and me right with her. I gave her Fester to hold, then we finished up exchanging kids, and off we both went. Saturday after the Bash, Angela called Claudia to let her know how things went. The first words out of Angelas mouth were, whats wrong? She had Fester with her, and was missing Ricky Otter. At that moment 4 words that have never passed through my lips before came out. I told her she could have Fester. I have never let one of my babies leave me, but Claudia has been there for me, for a long time now, every time I loose one she always seems to be right there to comfort me. So in my eyes it was a no brain er. She didnt answer me right away, but I kind of knew that Fester would be staying with Claudia. Fester has been such a joy for me to have, but knowing my friend was hurting the way she was, how could I not give her the joy of having Fester? Hes a big beautiful boy, and even though I do miss him, I know he is where he needs to be right now, and Im more than okay with it. Its just a little strange seeing his cage empty, but Im sure there will be someone to fill it soon, as we all know there is always a ferret somewhere that needs to be loved. I love you Fester, and I promise to come see you soon, in the mean time, make sure you give Claudia lots of your super special kisses.
