Well, ive finally decided to take the plunge (pun intended!) and get baptised! Im not doing this to curry favour with God, or because my salvation depends on it. No, i know that that was secured 2000 years ago through the death and resurrection of Jesus. But i think it can provide a powerful outward symbol of an internal, eternal reality. Also, im still here 1 year after my melanoma diagnosis and i have much to be thankful to God for, so what better way to celebrate my 1 year cancerversary than a public declaration of my faith. I will be getting dunked during the morning church service at Hunter Bible Church on Sunday 7th of December, with the service starting at 10am, and wrapping up by about 11:30. Our church meets at Lambton High School, Young Rd, Lambton. Everyone welcome. If you can make it, id love to see you there!
